Often called the Met Gala of the West Coast, the fourth annual Academy Museum Gala was a dazzling event filled with Hollywood’s brightest stars, flaunting their jaw-dropping red carpet fashion.<\/p>\n
Held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, this fundraiser supports cinema exhibits and public programming. Kim Kardashian, founder of ‘Skims,’ turned heads in an all-white Thierry Mugler corset paired with a matching maxi jacket draped over her shoulders. Her Cinderella-esque clear heels and a sparkling diamond Tiffany & Co necklace completed the look.<\/p>\n
Kim wasn\u2019t alone from the Kardashian clan; her younger sisters Kendall and Kylie were also present. Kylie chose a Thierry Mugler design like Kim, donning a nude sequin top with hip cutouts, exuding a sultry vibe. In contrast, Kendall opted for a more reserved look in a demure black Schiaparelli dress.<\/p>\n
Sheryl Lee Ralph, famous for her memorable award speeches, stunned in a cream strapless Sophie Couture gown that flaunted her curves beautifully at 67. Another standout was Taraji P. Henson, who shone brightly in a gold Tamara Ralph gown with a strapless design and deep v-neckline, giving off major Diana Ross vibes.<\/p>\n
Ava Duvernay and Davine Joy graced the event in Louis Vuitton. Duvernay looked sizzling in a red draped gown with a cowl neckline, while Joy embraced a more historical aesthetic with a cage crinoline giving her dress a distinct cylindrical shape.<\/p>\n
Kerry Washington brought runway elegance to the Gala in a stunning black and white Carolina Herrera floral print dress, looking simply breathtaking. Quinta Brunson also impressed in a strapless houndstooth Carolina Herrera dress, perfectly on trend for the season.<\/p>\n
Representing the fashionable men, Coleman Domingo and Dwayne Wade made quite an impression. Domingo, known for his sharp fashion sense and future role as the 2025 Met Gala co-chair, wore a standout black Valentino suit jacket with red pants and accessorized with black lace gloves adorned with diamond rings and bracelets. Wade looked equally dapper in a double-breasted suit featuring a silver embellished pen and tapered trousers. His wife, Gabrielle Union, complemented him perfectly in a midnight purple sequin Elie Saab gown, her Tiffany & Co jewels accentuating her stunning complexion. Together, they made a stylish duo.<\/p>\n
